Biography

​

Alicante-based artist, José Antonio Granero Vicente, was born in the Mediterranean coast of Spain. Since his childhood he had a great attraction for painting, drawing, music and all the audiovisual content that surrounded him. He has always been fascinated by every detail as well as experimenting with the perception of each element to create different works (drawings, paintings, sculptures). This affinity continued later, and José Antonio went on to study Sculpture at Orihuela School of Art and Design. There he acquired knowledge and abilities related to stone sculpture and the study of space. This make him able to understand the composition of materials and to acquire knowledge that he would later develop at the University of Murcia, in the Faculty of Fine Arts.
